What this is

NextGenFilmmaker is a school and a workshop in one. The school: tutorials that walk through a real piece of work — a short film, a skit, an animation, a video ad, a YouTube video, a music video — with the exact prompts and the workflow behind it. The workshop: the same AI models the tutorials use, 117 of them, run from one account with one balance of credits, and a timeline editor to cut the results into a finished film.

Who makes it

NextGenFilmmaker is made by Samuel, an independent filmmaker and developer. The tutorials are things actually made, not summaries of other people's work; when a model or a technique changes, the tutorial changes with it.

How it pays for itself

Reading is free and always will be. Generating costs credits — one credit is one US cent, and a run settles at what the model provider actually charges, shown before you press generate. There are no free credits and no advertising; the site earns the difference between what you pay for a credit pack and what the provider charges, and nothing else. See pricing.

What we do not do

We do not train models on your work, sell your data, or show you ads. Your prompts and files go to the model provider that runs them and nowhere else. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept and for how long.

Where it is going

More tutorials, tighter pricing as real usage teaches us what runs really cost, and an editor that keeps getting closer to the one you already use. Generating is invite-only while that testing happens; the invite page is where to ask.
